Welcome to the Village Pump Folk Festival
The team at the Village Pump Folk Festival are currently working hard to digest and act on all the wonderful feedback that you, our audiences, have been so willing to share with us since this year’s event closed.
The Village Pump Folk Festival is entirely run by a voluntary board of trustees and you can see the details of who those people are on this page.
The first outward sign of our reflection on the 2014 festival is manifested in the new ticketing scheme which the board has adopted for the 2015 event. This tiered pricing system is one employed by many of our colleagues around the UK. Amongst its benefits is that we have clarified our pricing structure. In doing so, in spite of all the economic pressures the festival faces, we are delighted to have maintained our policy of FREE camping & caravanning! There is one new charge that remains constant throughout our tiered system and that is a flat fee of £10 for young children. We hope that, given that one of our developments for the 2015 festival is to reinvigorate the children’s festival at the Pump, you and your children will see tremendous value for money.
The main message now as our first block of tickets are released at prices lower than 2014 is for you to get booking – as once this block of tickets is gone – they’re gone and we move up to the next Tier!
Pumpers can rest assured that we are busy working on an unrivalled line up of terrific music, great eating & drinking, fabulous retailing opportunities all happening in the uniquely beautiful location of the White Horse Country Park. We aim to post first information on our line-up early in December so keep visiting this website or sign up to our mailing list (Subscribe) to be the first in the know!
Hope you have these dates (24th - 26th July 2015) firmly typed/keyed/inked in your electronic and paper devices!
Good times, good music and good company – all for the most reasonable of ticket prices in 2015.
See you there!
